Hi All,

I am very excited to announce that Expedia New Zealand has just launched!  I've just returned from Auckland where we officially launched the site.

It was fantastic to see the site go live, after working on the implementation over the year.  The site looks fantastic - credit to Nicolas Chu (Director, Website and Product Development for Australia & New Zealand) and his team.

For all you Kiwis out there check out our launch promotion.  We have some cheap flight deals on the most popular destiations!

"To celebrate the launch, Expedia New Zealand is having a flight sale with significant discounts on major international destinations including Sydney, London, Los Angeles and Hong Kong; please visit http://www.expedia.co.nz/sale/flight-specials.aspx for more details."

Hi Kristi,
I have been offered a plan in AGSM 2009 MBA class but I am looking for some more information on job prospects for AGSM graduates. There is a lot of contradiction in official statistics and those told by word of mouth. AGSM claims that their average graduate salary is $120,000 while I read on some forum that majority of graduates end up teaching accounting in high schools or work at suburban travel agencies.
Can you please give me a realistic picture as its a huge time and money investment and I don't want to burn my fingers.
Thanks

Hi John,
not sure what forum you are reading but that's total rubbish. We don't even teach Accounting at high schools here (well they didnt when I was there :) ) Unless of course they think Expedia is a suburban travel agency. It's online - so I guess its urban, suburban and even rural!
Will email you offline so I can give you a realistic picture.
I absolutely loved my time at AGSM, it was the best career decision I ever made. I wouldn't have the job I have at the moment without my MBA.
